This is more than therapy. It is a dedicated space designed for growth, healing, and personal power.

We provide culturally competent coaching and counseling services focused specifically on the distinct needs, strengths, and challenges faced by Men of Color. This is more than therapy. It is a dedicated space designed for growth, healing, and personal power.
We understand that for Men of Color, traditional mental health spaces often fall short of meeting their needs. We acknowledge that the world has not always made space for men to focus on their mental wellness and emotional healing. Our approach directly addresses the compounded pressures of race, identity, masculinity, and intergenerational experience.
Not a space where you translate your experience. Dr. Sablo is an African American and Latino man who grew up in public housing in the Bronx. Your experience arrives here already understood. He is skilled in navigating racial trauma, professional code-switching, fatherhood, systemic barriers, and emotional expression within cultural contexts.
Reflection without movement is not enough. Every session produces something real — clarity, a decision, a next step. You will leave with more than you arrived with. We blend deep counseling for healing with focused coaching strategies — to help you define success, manage stress, improve relationships, and build the life you want.
Strength is not the absence of struggle. Strength is walking into a room and saying: I need support. We challenge limiting definitions of masculinity — helping you cultivate emotional literacy, maintain healthy boundaries, and sustain your well-being without sacrificing your drive.
Dr. Sablo brings decades of experience in mental health, higher education leadership, and equity advocacy. From public housing in the Bronx, NY to executive leadership roles, his journey fuels a deep commitment to empowerment, healing, and justice.
As an African American and Latino man, Dr. Sablo is intrinsically driven to support individuals with intersectional identities — with a special passion for the mental health and wellness of men of color. He has lived the compounded pressures he works to help others navigate, and that is not a credential. That is a calling.
His commitment to service includes previously serving as the National Facilitator/President of Adodi — the oldest same-gender-loving spiritual organization for Black men — and he is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first Black Greek-Letter Organization for African American men.
