Dr. Sablo grew up in the Marble Hill Houses — a public housing project in the Bronx, New York. He does not just understand the African American experience from a clinical distance. He carries it. He has lived the weight of systemic barriers, the power of community, and the transformative possibility that exists when someone truly believes in you.
As an African American and Latino man, Dr. Sablo built Elevation C³ specifically to be the space he needed when he was coming up — a place where Black and Brown people do not have to explain their world before they can begin to heal it.
A proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. — the first Black Greek-Letter Organization for African American men — and former National Facilitator of Adodi, Dr. Sablo's commitment to the Black community runs deep, runs wide, and runs lifelong.
